Indian Summer Rosé 2021, Hawke’s Bay

Bright, pale peach pink, even colour throughout. The nose is elegant and softly aromatic, yellow stonefruit melded with red berries and delicate floral. Medium-light bodied, dry to taste, creamy lees accompanied by nectarine, peach, red berries, and delicate peach blossom, a subtle hint of spice linger to a clean finish. The fruit is ripe and subtly in the background, well-proportioned and soft. Balanced, lively acidity carries powdery phenolics, adding a silky veil. This is an elegant, dry refreshing rosé with a fine texture. Serve as an aperitif or match with Prosciutto wrapped melon over the next 2 years. Very pale pink colour with slight eye-of-the-partridge hues, colourless on the rim. The nose is elegant in proportion with tightly bound and delicate aromas of white stonefruits with subtle notes of red berry fruit and soft red florals, along with thirst-quenching minerals. The aromatics build in intensity to form a firm core. Dry to taste and medium-Bright, even pale peach-pink. The nose is elegantly expressive, led by spice lifting, red blossom and rose petal, interweave red berries, stonefruit, apple and pear aromas. Medium-light bodied, elegantly presented on the palate, dry to taste, rose water entwined with red berries, pear and a hint of stonefruit, unfolding red blossom and refined spice. There is a good concentration of fruit with intensity presented with refinement and subtleties. The mouthfeel is silky, contributed by fine-textured phenolics, linger with a pristine, lively acid line, persisting to a sustained finish. This is a refined, elegant dry rosé with lovely intensity and fine-textured. Serve as an aperitif or match with cured salmon with horseradish cream over the next 3 years.
